I've now bought 2 watches from these guys and neither lasted: the second being "dead on arrival". The first one did take a (modest) fall and did work for a few weeks so maybe my fault. But the 2nd one died as I unboxed it. (The setting wheel came right out of the watch). I emailed repeatedly to their support e-mail and their facebook page but they never responded in any way. Yes the watches look beautiful but they are clearly very poorly made. Even this I could accept but ignoring repeated mails for a "dead on arrival" product is inexcusable. Don't be tempted by the good looks of the watch. You'll regret it.

Bought a watch last year and was very happy with it until the time adjustment knob fell off after 2-3 months. Wrote an email to Tapferkeit asking if they could replace it, or help in any other way. Did not get a reply for months. Wrote several more emails. Finally got one reply asking for more information, but have received nothing since, and this was several months ago now. This whole process has been going on since December. Do not buy from them - if anything goes wrong, you will not get a reply from them, let alone a replacement or refund!
